The book of Sirach 9:8 reads, "Turn away your eyes from a shapely woman, and do not gaze at beauty belonging to another..." (NRSV) Yeshua is even more radical, in Matthew 6:29 He says, "if your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away!" (TLV).
Why do we have the right eye? Right hand is understandable, because the majority of people are right-handed?
